sir we are two brothers and i live in my father property in hyerabad we both are married and not in touch/talking terms..
i want to settle the property we live to my son. if i write a settlemnt deed to my son without my brother's consent .will it be considered or forgery or just something that could be cancelled n the future .
when i checked with sub registrar office and agents, and they san i can get t registerd but not sure if it s legally valid. please clarify

if the property is belongs to your father through self acquired property. he can settle the property to the third parties also without consent of you and your brother.But if it is ancestral property the law is different, as per Hindu Law every one is having right in the said property.
