Question on rules to be a legal guardian when widow is alive

Hi Experts,

Can any one be a legal guardian along with widow (mother of child-Natural guardian) ?

If someone want to be legal guardian for child who has mother alive, then what is the process for that.

Move the appropriate application in the court seeking legal guardianship of the child, making the mother of the child as respondent party. If she does not have any objection, it can be granted. If she contests, the applicant has to prove that why she is not competent and the applicant is competent to shoulder such responsibility.
