Hi Legal Team,
One of my relative has filed false declaration suit in civil court, in his written statement he has mentioned he is possession of the property. But the fact is we are in possession and all records are in our name. His intention is to harass us. My question is - Is it possible to file a criminal case against him for filing false case ? Pls suggest.

The possibility to file a perjury claim shall arise only after it has been proven that he was lying, At this stage it is not maintainable. However you may have a local commisioner appointed to establish the fact that he is not in posession of thre suit property
