My wife had purchased apartment before marriage and mortgage with bank. Therefore my name is neither on property nor bank load. For tax saving purpose, I want to transfer 50% loan on my name. Does gift deed is possible on mortgage property?

The lender may not agree with any attempt to alienate the title.
Check with lender.
