Professional training in patent Law & Practice

 

Six Months Distance Training with 5 days, Class Room Training.

Institute of Patent Attorneys, India (IPAI) is providing training in Patent Law and Practice for professional development for Advocates and Patent Agents. 

ELIGIBILITY: - LL.B, Science, Engineering, Biotechnology and Pharmacy Graduates are eligible.

CAREER PROSPECTS

Advocates can practice Patent Law, before The Controller of Patents and Intellectual Property Appellate Board (IPAB) as per the Patent Act and rules. For Patent specification drafting and prosecution in Patent office, special training is required for Young Lawyers.IPR is one of special branch for Lawyers. As per Annual report published by  the office of the Controller general of Patents. During 2009-10,  34287 Patent Applications, 6092 Design Applications and 141943 Trade Mark Applications are filed in India

 

TRAINING MODE: - Study materials will be sending by courier/by registered post immediately after joining the course. Five days Class Room Training shall be conducted at New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai, in October/November-2011.Local Training shall be conducted other centres, if sufficient candidates are enrolled from other centres.

1. Patent Law and Practice

Patent Act and Rules, Patent Drafting, Filing and Prosecution

2. International Patent Filing under PCT
