Previous experience

In our organization (central Govt. undertaking) a job opening has been advertised recently. Many of the internal candidates have applied for the same. In the application, many of the them have declared their previous experiences which they have never declared in their entire service period (Biodatas, declaration forms etc.) OR Additional experience apart from which they had declared at the time of joining the organization. This they may have done just to fill in the gap between their actual experince and the one asked in the advertisement ( as per their existing service record).

My query is :

1. Whether the organization should accept such previous experience (never declared/ communicated in writing in the entire service period).

2. In case a staff manages to produce the experince certificate in support what should be the organization's stand?

Kindly reply..

Thanks..
