Poor quality construction

Dear Sir

For my house construction i have given contract to builder with good rate. He had completed and hand over the house last year April 2012. Later on i found lot of cracks on the wall it could be due to poor quality.

Can you let me know is it possible to file case against the builder for poor quality construction even after charged high rate for construction. With this cracks or poor quality house is not seem to be safe house to stay.

wtih  regards

Anji

Dear,

It is proper to submit that, you have every right to take action against the defaulted builder.

The buider has admittedly defualted in service. This act of builder comes under the purview of defintion of service, whereby the builder has to provide good service againts the money he has receive in lieu of the service.

It is advicable to approach consumer forum and get settled your case against the builder.
