Political contracts

Polticians giving promises while doing campign in elections.But i read in a book that political promises are void as per indian contract act.is it correct?

I think it is one hundred per cent correct because I have not seen any one who completes his promise. Just hoping for someone who can do research paper writing services UK and can change our country with more passion.
