Pay protection of non pensioner ex servicemen (ssco)

Dear Esteem Members, I am a retd. short service commissioned officer. Served from 2007 to 2012 and retired in Mar 2012. In June 2014 I joined a bank with starting basic pay of Rs.17,100/-p.m. in the scale of Rs.17,100-1000(11)-28100-EB-1000(4)-32100-1100(1)-33200 applicable to Officers in Grade ‘A’. Further pay protection as per govt. guideline was assured. My last pay drawn in the forces is as under BASIC 18240.00 ** GRADE PAY 6100.00 ** MSP 6000.00 ** DA (65%) 19721.00 ** Total: 50061.00 My Pay in the Bank was re-fixed by giving 04 additional increment as under BASIC 21100.00 ** GRADE ALLOWANCE 1500.00 ** DA (97.5%) 22035.00 ** Total: 44635.00 Is the above fixation correct? I could not understand how the pay protection was done. Request esteem members expertise and advise in this regard please.

After retirement you have joined in the new job. so the question of pay protection does not arise. While you are in service and selected to another post then it is possible for pay protection on certain conditions/rules.
