I was a Foreman in CESC Limited(Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation) upto 4.06.1998 . I joined The University of Burdwan on 5.6.1998.Before joining the post I prayed for pay protection . In my appointment letter, 'The Registrar' confirmed that my appeal for pay protection will be confirmed by the authority. After getting such type of assurance, I have joined the post of S.A.E.(E). My pay is not yet protected . Kindly advice what to do.Will you please give me any such instances/rules/past examples which I can place to the authority?
