Pay Protection

I am exserviceman retired from Navy in last 31 July 2011, now I got an appointment in Central Govt. IB as LDC i want to know whether will be eligible for Pay protection. What is the rule for pay protection. As all my friends serving in PSU banks are getting benefit of  pay protection. If the rule for only banks or is it who joins central govt as an (exserviceman).

If any standard ruling/ notification passed by the govt then, please do send me on pratapgaba@rediffmail.com

waiting for reply.

As per government rules, pay protection will be given in case the application for job is routed through the proper channel of the present employer.  As seen from your post, you are exserviceman and applied for job and got the job after your relief from the Navy.  In such a case pay protection may not be given.
