Preeti stay where the clients are nearer.  You may not have work of visiting PO regularly, rather you may have to meet your clinets on daily basis. 

Not necessary that you stay near to PO.  There are other advantages of staying near PO, some clients may walk in.

As Kotresh pointed out, stay where your clients are till you develop your practice. Theeafter you can shift your base.

 i want to know more about patent practice   Right now i am involved  wd a company as legal adviser , where job is mostly based on contract law.

 however, i would like to make a shift to patent practice.

 would  you kindly guide me ,   wat is the procedure  to  make  a head start . i am based on kolkata.
