Hi,
I am applied passport about 1 years ago and from then my passport is under review at RPO Thane because I am stating temeporary and permanent address is same ( i.e. Nashik my home town) and then in police verification I am stating different temporary address is of mumbai.so I went at RPO and asking them about query then they said you have to give address proof of mumbai .But I am staying at friends room and i have not any address proof as room agreement is on friends name so RPO advice me that you have to submit an application stating you haven't any address proof for this reason. so I am submit that application to RPO. but RPO rudely not listening any real fact and after some days I got a penalty letter of 5000.
so Is there any legal action that I can do against passport office or any other solution.please help
