PM or party MP?

Dr MMS , the PM went to the districts of WB to canvas for the congress party candidates. Mr Chids, the HM also found him engaged in campaigning in WB for his parties candidates. Mr Pranab , Grand old man of congress and the FM camped there to campaign for his dear son true to the congress culture. What they spoke for or against is not the issue. The issue is whether the executives while performing strictly party duties such as election campaigning be allowed to act , speak or reveal in the capacity of country's executives.

Isn't it a serious violation by the respective executive such as MMS as PM , CHids as Hm and Mr Antique as FM and be penalised? But does the EC has the spines?

Mr Mandal u r very correct and ur question is pertinent. Practice was introduced in the times of so called GREAT LEGEND, i.e. NEHRU. Since then voice was raised times and again for PRESIDENT RULE during election period. Unfortunately, now the election is going on all the year round non-stop. However, it will be in the fitness of things that there should be no by election, even if the Govt falls. Only on due dates, after every 5 yrs., the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections should be held and during that period there should be President Rule in the country. This will usher in a wonderful change on not only economic front but an election on equal footing as well.

Mandal ji Election Commission will have spine only as good as the spine of citizens. The spine of citizens was broken on the day when explicit enumeration of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms was removed from our Constitution. Citizens did not  then had the spine or the brain to ask the Constitutent Assembly as to why this conspiracy was being done by removing RKBA from our Constitution by our so called LEGENDS.

The possession of arms by the people is the ultimate warrant that government governs only with the consent of the governed. Laws disarming honest citizens proclaim that the government is the master, not the servant, of the people. One of the ordinary modes, by which tyrants accomplish their purposes without resistance, is, by disarming the people, and making it an offense to keep arms. To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them.

Americans have the will to resist because you have weapons. If you don't have a gun, freedom of speech has no power. -- Yoshimi Ishikawa, Japanese author, in the LA Times 15 Oct 1992

The disarming of citizens has a double effect, it palsies the hand and brutalizes the mind: a habitual disuse of physical forces totally destroys the moral force; and men lose at once the power of protecting themselves, and of discerning the cause of their oppression. -- Joel Barlow, "Advice to the Privileged Orders", 1792-93

The people of the various provinces are strictly forbidden to have in their possession any swords, short swords, bows, spears, firearms, or other types of arms. The possession of unnecessary implements makes difficult the collection of taxes and dues and tends to foment uprisings. -- Toyotomi Hideyoshi, dictator of Japan, August 1588

"The issue is whether the executives while performing strictly party duties such as election campaigning be allowed to act , speak or reveal in the capacity of country's executives."

---   yes mr mondal there is a good logic in the matter raised by you.

there should be a law that the ministers who are accepting salary and taken oath as ministers will not be allowed to campaign in favour of a particular party.

but not only congress, rly minister ms mamta and buddhadev ( cm of bengal) alongwith his whole ministry canvasing in favour of their respective parties.

ofcourse it is illegal to use govt money and properties to use for the purpose of election campaign.

there is no such rule by which EC can take action.
