Whether PF to be deducted for Leave encashment?

[font=Courier]Based on the representations received from EmployersΓÇÖ[/font]

[font=Courier]Association expressing difficulties in implementing[/font]

[font=Courier]the[/font][font=Courier] date for enforcement of PF Contribution on leave[/font]

[font=Courier]encashment[/font][font=Courier] paid on or after 01.10.1994 till[/font]

[font=Courier]30.04.1995, the matter has been referred to the[/font]

[font=Courier]Central Board of Trustees for deciding the date of[/font]

[font=Courier]enforcement[/font][font=Courier] of PF Contribution on leave encashment.[/font]

[font=Courier]Till such time a decision is taken, the effective[/font]

[font=Courier]date[/font][font=Courier] from which the recovery of PF contribution on[/font]

[font=Courier]leave[/font][font=Courier] encashment shall be from [/font][font=Courier]01 May 2005[/font][font=Courier] onwards.[/font]

You are right. pf will deduct on leave encashment but only on basic.

THE SAID MATTER IS SUB-JUDICE AT APEX COURT AND THE HON. HIGH COURT OF MADRAS VERDICTED THAT LEAVE ENCASHMENT IS NOT WAGES UNDER PF ACT

AS FAR AS YOU ARE LOCATED IN MADRAS THE JUDGMENT OF HON .MADRAS HIGH COURT IS BINDING ON THE EPFO MADRAS, KINDLY GET THE WRITTEN INFORMATION FROM THE RPFC MADRAS.
