Bank has to calculate interest and keep that separately in one head, which is not accounted or debited to the account.

They may apply interest but not debit to the account or show that amount as income.

However, at the time of recovery, they will recover single paisa also till the date the account is closed.

The same applies to charges also.  Every paisa spent on recovery has to be recovered from such defaulter.
