Name mis-spelled in land registration document

Hi,

My mother purchased a PLOT of land in Tiruvallur, near Chennai which was registered in 2000.

Recently while applying for an EC from the regratrar's office we noticed that the name mentioned in EC was "MEERA" instead of "MEENA". Also in the legal agreement which we hold some one had corrected `n` with `r` with pen, which was not noticed by my parents till date.

However, the second name & the address mentioned in the documents at registrar's office & our legal documents are correct.

How can I get this mistake corrected in both the documents. What is the procedure for the same.

Advance THANKS for helping me in this issue.

Regards

Ramesh

GIVE AN APPLICATION TO MADE CHANGE. ALSO MENTION THAT THIS IS CLERICAL MISTAKE MADE BY REGISTRAR OFFICE. DISCLOSE FACTS IN SAID APPLICATION.
