Dear Pradip

Should not be a problem. However, it would depend on the terms of your appointment letter.

but our personnel manager told us that it is not possible during probation. while in my appointment letter there were no bond or this type of terms included.

There should not be any problem in granting NOC. You apply for. In case, it is refuse, you make representation to higher authority.

Probation in public sector is not a slavery.  Mostof the person who apply for outisde Govt public posts are probationers.  Your HR manager perhaps doe snot know the rule.  Insist on the actual rule adopted by your company.  n case your copmpany has not framed any rules in this regard then Govt guidelines follow in this regard. Represnetation to higher authority is always open.

Hi, i have an appointment letter from a PSU based on my GATE score, i am a little reluctant to join as some other PSUs offering higher salaries will start their recruitment process soon. I want to ask if i join the PSU(from where i have appointment letter) now, and get selected in a better paying PSU say 2-3 months later, how hard is it going to be to leave the company. The present PSU has a bond period of 4 years with training period of 1 year, bond amount is 2.5 lakhs. Will i be able to get NOC after such a short period of 2-3 months ? I am apprehensive beacuse if i don't get selected anywhere else, i would have something to fall back to, if i join this company. Please advise.
