N i act

respected all 2 lac rs. given in CASH to my friend for his personal need he has given cheque for repayment now cheque is dishonored reason insufficient fund section 138 N I act is maintainable ?

Yes, action u/s 138 of NI Act is possible, provided you can prove that the said cheque was given for the repayment of the loan.

but sir i had read somewhere that unaccounted cash loan greater than 20000 is not recoverable under N I act 138
