Mother's share in intestate house property of married son

 

Son is married and acquires house property. son dies issueless and intestate while parents are alive.Does the mother has / can claim any share in the property that the daughter-in-law inherits from the husband's self acquired property?The family  is Hindu

Mother and Widow are both Class I legal heirs that inherit together equally.

Yes, mother and the son's widow would inherit equally with half share each.
