My tenant is asking for my Original Photo Id card, since he has received some legal money on winning some case, so autorities are asking him for the original photo id card of the owner who has signed on rent agreement.
Please suggest should I give it to him, or what are the possible misueses he can do.
He has requested me to either visist the court alongwith him or give him the original photo id card.
Please suggest.

you need to ask him to give you in writing that he wants your photo id card and also state the reason why he wants . the letter should be written by him and his name and signature alongwith date must be there. further, you may ask him to write the case details also in the letter.

are you crazy that will give original ID to someone at any cost. It is his problem not yours. All you should know is that you do not give original to anyone.
Suppose if the landlord is defenc eofifcer or intelligence officer will he afford to do this.
