Management of estate

My uncle’s wife is 78 years old.  Her memory is so far normal. But we suspect that she is slowly and gradually losing her memory power. There is considerable property in her name in the form of a flat, bank accounts and demat accounts of company shares. She will also be eligible for family pension if her husband dies earlier than her. I seek the advice of experts how to manage the affairs of her estate if she loses her memory power completely.

1.  While the marbles are still intact, take a "irrevocable power of attorney" duly registered and THEN do whatever needs to be done, till the soul is alive.

2.  BTW, I used to hear about people getting anxious and apprehensive, in anticipation about the propreties owned by such vulnerable relatives.  Surprising. The property matters and NOT the person.
