Legal notice

Hi Friends..

In one case complainant served a legal notice and asked to pay "cheque amount along with interest" with in 15 days from receipt of said notice..

Is it valid... technically i am little confused.. pl help me out..

That's what legal notices generally mention, if you don't pay the same amount then its upto the opposite party to file the case against you or not.

Procedure as such no problem, i just want to share that words used in notice are valid or it leads vague legal notice...

it is legal..

 

the cheque law is for punishment for bouncing cheque and not for recovery of money.

 

notice is an opportunity given to accused to clear debt which he / she can do by legally adjusting to pay .
