Should a Leave & License Agreement (duration 5 years and above) for a commercial property in TamilNadu be registered ? This is not an rental nor a lease agreement! We cannot find a clear, definite answer. We know Maharashtra has the 1999 Act that mandates registration but can anyone CONFIRM the status in TN? How can one verify this? Thanks.
