It notice u/s 143(2)

Dear Sir - Regards !

I have shifted from Chennai to New Delhi. My Income Tax PAN is assessed to New Delhi Jurisdiction. Scrutiny for AY 13-14 is also going at New Delhi.

Today I have received a notice u/s 143(2) for AY 14-15 from Chennai IT Department.

Please advise me is this notice, received fromChennai, valid as per Law.

How should i proceed further.

You need to verify as to where your PAN is registered in the tax department records. If you are sure, it is New Delhi - Do comply with the Chennai notice specifying that the notice is bad in law since it suffers from a jurisdictional defect. Abhimanyu 9218999999
