My Name is P.M.Mathew . Initials are mostly part of name in South India.
In all my certificates, the name is with initials. But when I have taken passport in 1984,
the name was simply expanded as Pulinthitta Mammen Mathew where Pulinthitta is family name,
Mammen is name of father , Mathew is own name. In passport it was only Surname and Given name and so simply expanded the initials.
Later on when PAN card and Aadhar card was made, where First Name, Name of father and Surname were specifically mentioned.
So in all certificates, Employment, Banks the name is P.M.Mathew ( In south, the surname or family name and name of father are abreviated as initials)
and they banks accept my PAN and Aadhar for KYC.
In Passport, the name is :Pulinthitta Mammen Mathew
In PAN and Aadhar, name is : Mathew Mammen Pulinthitta (correct order)
I want to change the name in passport also as Mathew Mammen Pulinthitta.
When I tried to change the name online in Maharashtra gazette , I got confused as my name in Aadhar and PAN are already correct.
As it is expected that everything will be linked to Aadhar in future, please guide me on how to resolve the issue
If an affidavit alone will do
As I have already corrected the name order in PAN and Aadhar how will I put up the gazette notification
Please guide.
