Under Mahomedan Law of Marriage, each party must have attained puberty which is presumed on the completion of fifteenth year. The Indian Majority Act, 1875, which fixes the age of marriage at the completion of the eighteenth year, does not apply to the cases of marriage, dower and divorce under Mahomedan Law of Marriage.
