Is to possible to get married in temple after register marriage?

hi guys pls help me out for this query.. We got register marriage by last month.. But now both families were accepted us.. They were planning to do marriage in temple for further formalities. Is it possible to do it after register marriage? pls reply me it's urgent

No harm for that form of marriage, however for legal purposes your registered marriage under the Special Marriage Act,1954 will be valid.

Yes, you may marry as many times you want but with same spouse.

Thanks for all your comments..my marriage is done by Tamil nadu registration of marriage act 2009.. I don't know about the temple procedure.. I asked nearby temple , they are not ready to do marriage in temple..The reason they told that your got register already ,so we cannot proceed further.. Please clarify this also..

You marriage is registered and it is also accepted by your respective families, so whats bothering you? Just live a blessed happy married life? Focus on the future without looking back.
