Dear Sir,
I am leaving my present employer on November 30, 2010. My employer refuses to take cognizance of house rent declaration and Sec. 80C benefits while deducting Tax Deducted At Source (TDS). Is he correct in his approach? Pl. guide me.

No, he doing wrong.
u may give those details to your new employer or may disclose such details in your return of income and claim the refund.

as you are leaving the job, in my opinion you should be cool minded.
