Interstate sales for goods to a financial institution

Hi, We are a business house in interior products in mumbai. Consider are we having a order in which we have to supply goods to Rajasthan or Karnataka through the logistics companies or a full load truck or a train cargo movement.

The goods are to be sent to a Financial Institution or a Bank in which case the Bank doesnot provide any VAT Forms or entry permits as they being unregistered entities in that state.

Can the gurus assist us whether the above sale is possible without any penalties as the consignments will be sent without VAT and TAX forms.

Regards,

Aneesh

It is an interstate sale / transaction to a unregistered dealer. You can sell    goods charging tax applicable on those goods in Maharastra in the absence of declaration forms. If it is taxable as RNR, you should collect that rate as CST in this sale. Along with your tax invoice, attach a copy of purchase order received by you and declaration forms if any applicable in your State. Please consult your tax advocate or practitioner for state tax matters.
