Inter caste court marriage

Hi All,

I need to know in case of court marriage or any marriage beaure, is it compulsory to get a witness.

Is there any exception to the witness presence rule.

I want to marry a girl intercaste, legally but a bit confused with the witness  rule .

Three witnesses are required for registration of marriage.

anyone can be a witness to the marriage.it need not be necessarily a relative of yours or hers

Presence of witness is mandatory either in court marriage or special marriage.Two each from either side.
