Incorrect survey no in parent docs

I am planning on purchasing a land from an owner (say B) who has previously purchased it from a parent owner (say A). The survey number of the land is incorrect in the parent doc(A) and subsequently incorrect in land doc of B during B's purchase. The area of the sectors in the documents match the actual area during a recent survey and it is being assumed that there was some kind of logistical error during A's purchase. What should my next steps be, inorder to purchase the land??

FYI. Person A is still alive and well.

Much Appreciated!!

The owner-A shall obtain a rectification deed with correction from the vendor or his legal heirs. then A shall execute a rectification deed in favour of B.  after B getting the rectification deed from A, then only you can purchase the property.
