Please suggest that Under Section 34 and further amended in 1978 Sectio 83 of Delhi Police Act, they have powers to remove illegal encroachment by street vendors on roads and passages in Delhi ? Or under any other law Police can remove these illegal encroachment. Isn't Delhi Police Duty bound to make the passages and roads for the purpose of which they are meant for.
