We have supported a case filed against the Trustees of a Trust at the Charity Commissioner, Mumbai under section 41D of the BPT Act. This case was filed due to mismangement and misappropriation of Trust funds. We are beneficiaries of the Trust as well as Licensees staying in the colony built by the founder Trustess. The current Trustees are not the founder Trustees. It is a Publict Trust. As a counter blast the Trustees did not renew our Leave & License agreements despite of pleading them to renew the same. The Trustees have filed eviction proceedings against 25 families under section 24 of Maharashtra Rent Control Act 1999 at the Competent Authority in Mumbai for supporting the case at Charity Commissioner, Mumbai. My question is how do we get a stay on eviction proceedings and save 25 families to come on the road. Please advice.
