Here is a situation .I had filed a case of criminal intimidation case under IPc sec 506. A person had sent me abusive SMS and had repeatedly harassed me and humiliated me through SMSes. I produced the stored meesages in mobile to the court, but the court is not ready to accept that.
a:- Now how to prove that the SMS were indeed sent from same number.?. Should i approach service provider and ask for the list of record of SMS sent from that particular number?.
b:-Since it comes under cyber crime-is there any other way to deal with case?
c:-What will happen if i am not able to prove that the SMSes were indeed sent from same number.? Will the case be dismissed?
