I had a misunderstanding with my husband recently and me and my baby are living with my parents now. When i was living with him, we were in a rented house. Few months back the landlord asked us to take the house for lease. i took a personal loan and paid the lease amount. Now, since i am not living with him and i have to take care of my baby, i find it difficult to pay the emi. i asked him for the money and he says he cant give. The agreement is on his name but i gave the cheque and i have the transaction details and bank statement. is there any legal way of getting the money back either from my husband or from the landlord?
