My father bought a property of 5 acres at Coimbatore, Tamilnadu in 2007. The property owner had already sold the land to a seller. Meanwhile in a couple of months before it reflects into EC, the land was sold to us as well by the same property owner. After certain period when we applied for the EC we figured out the property had been registered twice and we were the second person. At this situation, I seek your advice on how can we proceed legally? Do we have right on that land as my father name is displayed in the EC? Is is possible for us to get back the money or property legally?
