Grandson right in grandfather ancestor property

Can a 9 year old grandson claim right in the property of his alive grandfather when his (grandson) father has expired and this property has been given to grandfather by his (grandfather) father through a will. The great grandfather (father of grandfather) died after one year of the birth of grandson. I will be obliged if anyone can provide link of judgement already done in this regard.

since father of the minor son died, right of partition is open and the minor child can be represented by mother and natural guardian as next friend.
