Government un assessed tharisu propery

The High Court of chennai have issued a order to us and they have demolised the houses of 5 families who stayed in a Government Un assessed Tharisu poramboku land.

We were stayed there for more than 40 years. We had all the government documents like Driving lisence, Voter Id, electricity connection to house, ration card, everything in the address.

All the 5 family land comes under one survey number. one of the association member in our area have put the case in the Chennai HC under consumer court.

We housing Tax, other relavant taxation documents to prove that we stayed there for almost 40 years.

The collector, revenue department & Municipality are favour to us to provide the patta. But the Chennai high court have not concidered that and issued order to demolish the houses in 24 hrs time. And also they have demolished all the 5 family houses.

The original layout of that land is no where available in the municipality and the guy who filed the case against us have preapred his own layout and mark the land as public park.(which cannot be accepted by district collector and Municipality people). since we have all the govt documents of the families under the address wr they lived for 40 over years we stand forward to get the land back from government.

Govt of tamil nadu have already issued a order during 2005 that they can give patta for the people who living in the unassesed Tharisu land. After plenty of tries for more than 10 years for asking for patta revenue department and municipalities failed to provide the patta. The readon behind it was a mystery.

Since all of our houses has been already demolished by Municipality we are moving forward to the supreme court for justice. We have the letter from district collector saying that patta can be given for the lands wr the 5 families stayed. We need justice and we are moving this case and ask for appeal in supreame court.

Please provide your suggessions on this. We are all lower middle class families and working as a daily wager.

please provide your valuable comments and feedback how can we proceed further.

Thanks & Regards,

Thani
