Can police arrest an ex-army officer on Republic Day without his involvement and any notice and intimation in an offence alleged by the complainant on grudge?
Are the police more powerful than an Army Officer (ex / working) ?
If not, what action should be taken against the errant police personnel?

He brought the financial irregularities of the complainant before the District Court.

bringing financial irregularities before the court is not an offence. There must be another cause or reason for his arrest. Can u tell me the section under which he was arrested?
