I have argument for interim maintenance and child access pending in Bandra Family court on next week. To my utter surprise , my lawyer is demanding an exorbitant fee of Rs 50,000 for both the arguments. What do I do now? I am sure he is holding me ransom.

1.Is is better change the lawyer or otherwise you yourselve can argue the case.It is quite evident that he is taking advantage of you..
2.Please scan me the papers, i will prepare the written arguments and the same you can argue or file the same to the court.

change your lawyer
prepare your own notes about every minute detail
explain those to your new lawyer in detail
it is not advisable to fight party in person without prior experience as it might jepordise your case
