Examination in chief and cross examination

Hi Experts. 

One department enquiry is going on in s*xual harrassment case. President of such committee enjoys rights under CPC. So under CPC is it compulsory for a president / judge to document / record Examination in cheif and Corss Examination? Pl suggestt releveant provisions. (Also pl suggest if it is relevant to any other laws like Evidencec Act, etc..)

Hi! Thanks for the question! 

Yes, it is compulsory for the court to record the statements in the court through a typewriter or himself so that a judgment could be formed that entails the proper reasoning and speaks for itself. The statements so recorded shall make part of the record of the case. It comes under order XVIII(18) of CPC .
