Dear All,
I looking a suggests, i got married on feb'19 and ive stayed my wife for 50 days. we got sepeated bcos she is having affiar with another guy.
So how many days i need to wait to apply divorce and i heard she is looking for jeevanamsam.
Can anyone pls help with the this, im not interested to pay jeevnamsam

You can file divorce petition in court on the ground of cruelty.

Divorce, for whatever reason, shall be given only after one year of marriage. As for alimony or maintenance, it can be decided by court only. If she marries the other person, with whom she has an affair, no alimony will have to be given.
