Does Company resignation letters require company stamp on it

Hi sir,

This is Harish. Till March 11th, 2011 I worked as a Associate Software Engineer @ some X company in Bangalore. As they were closing the company, they requested us to resign. They just intimated 1 week before closing the company. At the time of resignation, they had given me just Resignation or Relieving letter. As it is a print out, the authorized people just signed on it, but there is no COMPANY STAMP on it.

When I have asked regarding this, they were just saying that the company stamp is not mandatory on offer letter or relieveing letter or salary pay slips. They have not provided salary pay slips too. They were saying that  "as they have mentioned CONSOLIDATED PAYMENT on my relieving letter", there is no need of salary slips.

What does Consolidated payment means exactly?

They haven't paid current month 10 days salary also(from march 1st to march 11th)

Regards,

T.V.Harish
