My DOB as per school leaving certificate is 01/06/1963 which is wrong. My real birth date is 28/08/1964.I tried to get proof from vaccination deptt but failed to get it due to long period. My parents have not registered my DOB in local panmchayat because it was not mendatory at that time. Now, I have only one record i.e. Janmapatrika(Kundali) prepared by our pandit.
My question is; can I file civil suite based on this single proof to get my DOB changed? My parents, elders and panditji are ready to help me out, if the suite is admitted. What could be the approx expenses?
