Do i need to mention about dvc while filing for custody?

Dear Experts, I need some guidance on the following:

I have a DV case registered against me u/s 12 and 23 awaiting first hearing. I am filing for custody under GWA. My queries are:

1. Do I need to mention about the pending DV case in my custody petition? If, I don't, will it be considered as suppression of facts at a later stage? My lawyer says it is not necessary to mention though. Please guide me on the pros and the cons.

2. Would it be a good idea to put similar case references in my custody petition? Or it would be better if I save those for later stage. If this is preferable, then when and how these references can be produced?

I am just a layman (victim) trying to get some knowledge.

Warm Regards

Dnt see any reason for not mentioning such details, ask your advocate what benefit will you get if case you don’t mentioned.
