Divorce after the marriage

Hi, My elder brother got married in the month of June 2019. Now, he wants to divorce after getting to know that the bride and their family are after our money. Will we have to pay maintenance to the girl?

Can 'Section 12' help in this case where one of the party accepts that the fraud has been done with them?
