Dividing ancestor property

Dear Sir/ Madam

we had land near  Vijayamaglam Erode. Its ancestor property. That is grand father property. grand father had six children. from that six children 5 children had one opinion to not sale the land instead of that we divide and hold the property. But one children doesn't support to another 5 children.

in this case,

the 5 children opinion will consider as a major part to divide and document the land?

If the property was bought by your grandfather or if it was his self acquired property and he died intestate, it devolved upon his legal heirs.  Here let us not go about coparcenery details.  Keeping that the mentioned people are the only legal heirs and out of all one does not want to hold his  partitioned share of property  but all others want to retain their share arrived out of their partition deed, you may all proceed with partition deed and separate possession of your respective shares and it is up to the individual share holder to retain or sell his share of property.  What is your query?
