In this instant case Director Delhi Fire Service has declared all ranks superior to Station Officer as nominated authority for the purpose of Delhi Fire Service Act and left all the station officers without stating any reason. Does the section 2(t) gives such powers to Director Delhi Fire Service ??

It is relevant here to mention that Station Officer is the first responder of all fire and emergency calls but is unaware of fire safety arrangements of the buildings in the area.
