Deemed conveyance

In case of 2nd sale during the period 1981- 1985, the agreement to sale was adequately stamped , so no further stamp duty is to be paid until conveyance.

But incase of goign for deemed conveyance from the builder by the society, are these buyers expected to pay the stamp duty on that document at market value or there is no such requirement yet.

Pls request your clarification on the same.

all the documents needs to be fully stamp duty paid and registered if the society is looking to go for conveyance of land in their favour. incase, the document was registered and the stamp duty was not paid, then the stamp duty needs to be paid as per then value with 200% penalty. whereas, if the agreement was not registered at that time then the stamp duty from todays rate woud be applicable.

Under the Heading - Deemed conveyance Posted: 09 Jul 2013 05:14 PM PDT, it is mentioned that - In case of 2nd sale during the period 1981- 1985, the agreement to sale was adequately stamped , so no further stamp duty is to be paid until conveyance. Here may I request to please confirm that - "Is it true that in case of 2nd sale no further stamp duty is required to be paid if already paid at the time of first sale agreement?"
